Ranthan Kharak Trek is rated Moderate. It tops out at 12,800 ft over 6 Days, starting from Gogina. First-timers can do it with 6–8 weeks of cardio prep — aim for 5 km in 35 min comfortably before you arrive.
The window is Apr – Jun, Sep – Nov. Outside of these months trails are either snowed-in, monsoon-washed, or impassable. We don't run batches outside the safe season — your safety comes before bookings.
All meals on the trek (veg + hot), forest permits, tented accommodation, sleeping bags & mats, certified trek leaders, high-altitude cook, porters for camp gear, oximeter checks, and a basic medical kit. Personal porters and rental gear are add-ons.
Cancel 30+ days before departure → 90% refund. 15–29 days → 70% refund. 8–14 days → 50% refund. Under 7 days → trek credit valid for 12 months. We never charge for cancellations caused by weather, landslides or natural events — we reschedule instead.
Most trekkers reach Gogina from the basecamp town the previous evening. We share a shared cab pool 10 days before departure so you can split costs with fellow batch members. Detailed travel notes go out with your booking confirmation.
BSNL and Jio work at the basecamp town. Above the treeline expect no signal — we carry satellite communicators and emergency phones, and check in with our HQ twice daily.
